Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Michigan
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
• Ability to design and implement interventions tailored to student needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Flexibility to adapt strategies for both individual and group therapy sessions
• Knowledgeable in current best practices for school-based physical therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ gross motor skills and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with other special education and teaching professionals to support student IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide progress updates to educational teams and families
• Participate in eligibility and planning meetings as needed
• Contribute expertise to adaptations in classroom and campus environments to enhance access
