OUR TEAM

Our co-founders diverse and complimentary backgrounds are what sets Cross Plains Capital apart from the competition. With nearly 20 years of management consulting under his belt, our Co-founder Roy Johanson is hard-pressed to find an industry he doesn’t have relevant experience in. As a recent University of Wisconsin – Madison graduate, Bryce Kinney compliments Roy’s experience by tackling problems with a fresh perspective through a technology-focused lens.

Bryce Kinney

Bryce earned a full scholarship to UW-Madison where he completed his undergraduate degrees in both computer science and biology. His fervor for tackling unique and complex challenges inspired him to become an entrepreneur – starting his own business at the ripe young age of 20. Bryce draws on both his technical and scientific backgrounds to offer new-age solutions. His analytical and detail-oriented mind allows him to serve as a leading strategist on any team.

What do I do for fun? Camping, backpacking and road biking. I enjoy peace, quiet and space to be creative.

Roy Johanson

After completing his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan, Roy went on to complete his Master of Business degree at Cornell University. This analytical and scientific background makes Roy a unique asset to all teams. Combine his technical expertise with 5 years’ experience at Mckinsey & Company, and you’d be hard-pressed to find an area in which Roy is lacking. Roy invariably helps people see the big picture while also focusing on immediate business benefits. He is team-oriented and uses his wide-ranging network to bring in high-quality specialists to augment his results.

What do I do for fun? Hanging out with my family and spending time with my wonderful wife, Deb.
